Altair Corporation was founded on November 29, 2004 in Niyabainen. The corporation is named after the 11th brightest star in the night sky. We have operated continuously in New Eden for over two decades, focusing on industrial manufacturing, blueprint research, and deep-space mining.

Twenty years later, we are still here and still logging in. Most corps in EVE burn out after a year or two of sov warfare and alliance drama, but we stayed steady. We kept our crew small, stayed based out of Niyabainen, and stuck to what we enjoy: running manufacturing lines, researching blueprints, and hauling freight through The Forge with friends we have known for half our lives. EVE has changed quite a bit since 2004, but flying with people you trust never gets old.

We past our 11th Anniversary in New Eden without even noticing, some of our members have been in the universe for 15 years too. We are still manufacturing, researching, mining and ever expanding the corporation in New Eden.

We set up Altair back in late 2004, docking up in Niyabainen IX - Moon 4 right in the middle of The Forge. We named the corp after the star, gathered a small circle of friends who enjoyed the industrial side of the game, and started cooking blueprint copies, building hulls, and chewing through asteroid belts. We wanted a quiet home where we could fly together, trust everyone who had hangar access, and stay well clear of nullsec politics.
